Role Overview 

We are looking for a driven and creative Marketing Manager to lead Petcover’s marketing activity across Australia. This is a hands-on role for a well-rounded marketer who can take ownership of the local plan and deliver results across brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention. 

You will lead integrated campaigns across digital and traditional channels, support business development, and build strong industry relationships. You will work closely with the global marketing team while tailoring activity to the needs of the local market. If you have strong initiative, attention to detail, and a passion for pets, this could be the perfect fit. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead the development and execution of the Australian marketing strategy, aligned with global goals and brand standards 

• Plan and deliver multichannel campaigns across digital (SEO, PPC, email, social), print, events, and partnerships 

• Collaborate with the global team to support and promote B2B and B2C events and conferences. 

• Support the Business Development team with marketing activity to drive lead generation and commercial growth 

• Monitor campaign performance using KPIs, conversion tracking, and ROI analysis 

• Manage the local marketing budget to ensure cost effective execution 

• Oversee website content and user experience, optimising localised pages for engagement and conversions 

• Work alongside customer service and sales teams to support customer lifecycle communications 

• Build and maintain relationships with veterinary clinics, pet retailers, and industry partners 

• Manage local PR, sponsorships, and community engagement 

• Maintain brand consistency across all Australian marketing activity 

• Keep informed on trends, customer insights, and competitor activity within the pet and insurance sectors

Skills and Experience 

• 3 or more years of experience in a marketing management role, ideally in insurance, pet products, veterinary services, or similar 

• Demonstrated success delivering end to end campaigns with measurable results 

• Strong experience in digital marketing including SEO, paid media, CRM, and analytics 

• Confident copywriter with strong proofreading and content creation skills 

• Experienced in managing external agencies and supplier relationships 

• Familiarity with planning and delivering events, trade shows, and sponsorships (dependant on location)  

• Commercially minded with the ability to translate insight into action 

• Relevant qualifications in marketing, communications, or business
