Workforce International are seeking keen and reliable dockhands for work in the Newcastle area. Our client's business was established in 1993 and is one of Australia’s largest family-owned freight companies, offering dependable express road transport services for parcels and bulk pallets nationwide.
About the Role:
5 Days per week (Mon-Fri)
5am-9am (4hr shifts)
$32.06/hr
Immediate start for the right candidate
Work available until Christmas for the right candidate
Duties may include:
Loading and unloading trucks
Manual freight handling
Sorting and organising freight into the correct regions
Move boxes onto conveyor belts and sort into cages
A successful candidate will:
Be physically fit and able to pass a pre-employment physical including a drug and alcohol screening
Be reliable and have own transport
Previous dockhand, warehouse or container unloading experience (not essential)
Be an honest worker with good communication skills
Be punctual and reliable, with a can-do attitude
