The Role

An opportunity has become available for a Digital Procurement and Contract Advisor to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

• Provide strategic Information and Communication Technology procurement and commercial advice to executives, resolve supplier issues, and manage supply risks
• Support the Digital Sourcing Manager in developing annual Information and Communication Technology procurement plans aligned with budgets and organisational priorities
• Prepare briefing notes, papers, and contract documentation to inform and support procurement decisions
• Collaborate with industry and stakeholders to drive innovation, identify sourcing opportunities, and achieve efficiencies

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

• While not mandatory, it is expected that applicants will have significant relevant ICT procurement experience, including significant sourcing and contract management experience
• While not mandatory, the combination of relevant commercial and government ICT procurement experience, together with QITC experience would be highly regarded
• While not mandatory, a relevant academic qualification and/or membership of a professional procurement body would also be highly regarded in addition to experience with ServiceNow, SharePoint and the MS Office suite
• Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
• Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary

• Permanent full time
• Base salary ranging from $121 360 - $129 998 per annum
