About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and organised Saturday Auction Assistant to join the team at Menck White Auctioneers in Sydney. In this casual role, you will play a crucial supporting function during our weekend auctions, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for both our clients and bidders. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the fast-paced world of real estate and property auctions.
What you'll be doing
· Attend on-site or in-room auctions with the auctioneer
· Set up and pack down A-frame & camera tripod on arrival/conclusion of each auction
· Assist with registering bidders prior to each auction
· Scribe the bids onto the Bidding Record during auctions
· Provide the Bidding Record to the agent after the auction
· Keep a record of the results across the day
· Support and assist the auctioneer as needed
What we're looking for
Strong administrative and organisational skills with an eye for detail
Excellent communication and customer service abilities (strong English language skills essential)
Availability to work at least 1-2 Saturdays a month (more if desired)
A high level of presentation
Drivers license preferred
