What you'll be doing
Operate the espresso machine to prepare a variety of coffee and drinks menu
Prior experience operating commercial espresso machines is highly valued — support and training from our coffee equipment partners can be arranged for the right candidate
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and restocking as needed
Provide a warm and professional customer experience, confidently managing orders and inquiries while maintaining a positive and approachable presence on the floor
Keep your station clean, tidy, and compliant with all hygiene and safety standards
Collaborative nature and willingness to support the broader cafe team as needed
What we're looking for
Relevant experience: Proven experience as a barista/manager (minimum 2-3 years in a busy cafe).
Coffee expertise: Proficient in operating espresso machines and preparing a wide range of coffee drinks
Customer service focus: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for providing outstanding customer service
Attention to detail: Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in a fast-paced environment
