Property Project Manager Our client is seeking a skilled Property Project Manager to lead a dynamic and varied portfolio of property and capital works projects. This role is hands-on and highly visible, offering the opportunity to deliver high-impact projects that improve facilities for staff, community groups, and the wider public. You'll play a key role in shaping the spaces that matter, from building upgrades and renewals to new developments and staff relocations.
- Location: NSW, 2049
- Hours: 35 per week
- Contract: 7 months (opportunity to extend)
- Rate: Up to $85/hr (including super)
Key Responsibilities - Lead the end-to-end delivery of property and capital works projects, from initial concept and feasibility through to design, approvals, procurement, and construction
- Manage budgets, contracts, and consultants, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget
- Plan and schedule projects using best practice project management tools, including Microsoft Project and Office suite applications
- Engage with stakeholders across multiple teams, contractors, and the community to ensure smooth project execution and clear communication
- Identify and mitigate project risks, solve problems creatively, and drive innovative solutions to achieve successful outcomes
- Support long-term capital works planning by contributing to project scopes, priorities, and program scheduling
Requirements - Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Asset Management, Building, or a related field
- Proven experience delivering property or capital projects, managing budgets, procurement, and contracts
- Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing diverse teams and external partners
- Proficient in project management systems, Microsoft Project, Office suite, and financial tracking tools
- Current NSW Class C Driver Licence
Desirable - Postgraduate qualifications or AIPM membership
- AutoCAD experience
- Knowledge of local government or public sector project delivery
