About The Role
We are looking for a Purchasing Clerk to join our Purchasing team in the Procurement & Supply department in Newcastle. We are looking for strong team player to join our tight knit Procurement & Supply department.  A keen eye for detail is a must as well as the ability to work collaboratively with suppliers and internal departments across our mining operations.

This is a full time permanent role based in our Newcastle office.

What You’ll Do

As well as providing a high standard of quality transactional procurement services, duties will include:

• Converting approved purchase requisitions into purchase orders
• Supporting the procurement team with administrative tasks & working closely with the accounts payable team
• Reporting, shared inbox management and other admin functions
• Onboarding and vendor management
• Stakeholder engagement & providing an excellent level of customer service

What You’ll Bring 

In addition to working in a high-volume processing environment, you have:

• Relevant purchasing or procurement experience within a large organisation
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• SAP and/or Pulse Mining ERP experience will be highly regarded
