 Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily grounds maintenance operations across key sites, including mowing, edging, pruning, weed spraying and general garden care

• Supervise and support a small team as operations expand

• Ensure high service standards and full compliance with contract requirements

• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment safely and effectively

• Maintain a clean, safe work environment aligned with WHS protocols

• Build strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders

• Promote a team culture based on respect, accountability, and pride in work

• Take ownership of the role, ensuring that sites are presented to a consistently high standard and that service delivery aligns with client expectations

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in grounds maintenance, ideally in commercial contract or open space environments

• Confidence leading or mentoring others in a field-based environment

• Strong practical knowledge of equipment operation and site presentation standards

• Commitment to safety and quality

• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport

• A self-starter who takes initiative and ownership of outcomes

• Respectful, professional, and community-minded

Highly Regarded (But Not Essential)

• Qualifications in Horticulture, Parks & Gardens, or related fields

• Chemical handling and application certification

• Experience working on commercial or government maintenance contracts

 Employment Requirements

• Ability to work legally in Australia (citizens, residents, and visa holders welcome)

• A National Police Check may be required
