About the Role
- Collect environmental samples and assist with field testing work
- Work outdoors in hot, wet, or dusty conditions – rain or shine
- Work both in a team and on your own when required
- Casual position | $43 per hour | 12-hour shifts (6:00am – 6:00pm)
- Roster: 8/6 (Tuesday to Tuesday)
What’s Included
- Accommodation provided in shared housing in Charters Towers
- Meals provided daily from a local hotel, free of charge
- Paid for the full 12 hours each day (including breaks)
- Daily site bus leaves Charters Towers at 5:00am and returns around 7:00pm
- You’ll need to arrive the night before your first shift
What We’re Looking For
- Ideally based in Charters Towers, but open to Townsville candidates happy to DIDO
- Current Open C Class Manual Driver’s Licence (essential)
- Good level of fitness – the work is physical and outdoors
- Reliable, safety-focused, and willing to work in all conditions
- Able to follow directions and work safely with others
Before You Start
- Must complete a Pre-Employment Medical
- Drug & Alcohol testing required
- Site Inductions to be completed before commencement
- You’ll need to make your own way to Charters Towers (travel time not paid)
