Laundry Box are Melbourne's Premier Dry Cleaner and Clothing Alterations specialists. We are expanding and require two additional Customer Service team members. We are looking for dedicated, well presented, customer service focused, reliable, hardworking and trustworthy Customer Service Representatives to help deliver excellent customer service from our Brighton, Port Melbourne & Elwood stores. Retail Customer service experience required. We are looking for energetic, hard working, friendly and customer focused people to join our fun and fantastic team. Some experience and/or study in fashion would be amazing for this role.
Full training on our Point of Sale system and cleaning processes is provided. Role includes daily store operations, serving customers for dry cleaning, serviced laundry and clothing alterations needs. Other duties include cash handling responsibilities, sorting and racking of customer orders and general tidying of the store. Work days are from Monday to Saturday with the occasional Sunday when required (great penalty rates on weekends). Customer service experience is important and flexibility on hours is essential. Fun and friendly environment with good hourly rate.
Key responsibilities for this role are, but no limited to:
Provide customer service for dry cleaning, laundry and clothing alterations
Point of sale transactions and cash handling
Assist the dry cleaning team with wash and fold duties
Assist with general in-store or phone based enquiries
Liaise with our delivery team for store orders and customer drop offs/pick ups
General store cleaning and tidying
Work across all three stores (Brighton, Port Melbourne & Elwood) as required
Skills and experience:
Must have demonstrated customer service experience (ideally 1 year+ in retail)
Minimum of 2+ years customer service experience is required
Flexible availability to work most days, including some weekends
Must be available to work a minimum of 4-5 days per week as part of flexible scheduling requirements
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Working knowledge of computers and ideally POS systems
Ability to learn fast and work efficiently
Ability to operate independently
Ideally some knowledge of fashion & garments for alterations pinning or fabric knowledge for dry cleaning
Must possess valid Australian work rights or appropriate work visa
