What You’ll Be Doing

As a Room Leader, you will:

• Lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of high-quality, developmentally appropriate learning programs.
• Guide, mentor, and inspire a team of educators, supporting a strong, collaborative team culture.
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and your fellow educators to foster a safe, connected, and inclusive environment.
• Maintain a clean, engaging space that encourages exploration and supports individual developmental needs.
• Oversee daily routines, transitions, and classroom rhythms to create consistency and calm for children.
• Ensure all practices align with the EYLF, NQS, and regulatory standards, including child protection and health & safety.
• Monitor and document children’s learning journeys, contributing to continuous quality improvement.
• Be a proactive role model who embodies professionalism, positivity, and reflective practice.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a confident and caring Diploma-qualified Educator who is ready to lead or already thriving in a Room Leader role. The right candidate will:

• Hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
• Understand and apply the EYLF, NQS, and relevant early childhood legislation.
• Demonstrate leadership capability with a team-focused approach and open communication style.
• Be passionate about early learning, bringing creativity and curiosity into your daily practice.
• Have exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Hold a valid Working with Children Check, and current First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis certification.
