Our client, an Australian construction company is a specialised arm of a larger property development and hospitality group, established to deliver major projects. The firm prides itself on being a design-led and commercially disciplined construction company, with a handpicked Tier 1 team that brings extensive experience to high-profile projects. Their primary focus is on ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and sustainability in their work.
The company concentrates on a variety of significant projects, particularly in the residential sector. A key focus has been a large-scale, two-tower apartment development, which also includes a substantial retail precinct. This project is intended to be a landmark in a major coastal city, featuring a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom apartments with high-end amenities. Their team has a long-standing history of delivering major projects in the region, including iconic residential towers.
As our client is continuing to grow, they are seeking a skilled Structures Foreman to join their expanding team and contribute to their ongoing success.
The Role
- Structures Foreman on a multi level residential development
- Working collaboratively with your Site Manager and Project Manager to achieve key milestones and drive programme
- Ability to work autonomously looking after structures and managing large numbers of trades and direct staff
- Excellent build knowledge and people management
- We are looking for a foreman who can both work within a large team but with the ability to work autonomously as required
Experience/Qualifications Required
- Minimum 5 year's proven experience as a Structures Foreman in Tier 1 or large-scale commercial towers or residential apartments for a head contractor for Australia.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, building regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong commitment to quality, safety, and environmental sustainability.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or Engineering (preferred).
- Extensive experience in managing large, complex projects
- Proficiency in project management software and construction documentation.
