Our client is a fantastic Services organisation based in the South-Eastern Suburbs. You will be working within a friendly and collaborative Payroll Department assisting with end-end Payroll.
The Role
3-6-month contract opportunity for an experienced Payroll professional.
As Payroll Officer, you'll be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing for a large and diverse workforce. This role will suit someone who enjoys ownership of their work, thrives in a high-volume environment, and can work confidently within established systems and processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- End-to-end processing of a weekly and fortnightly payroll
- Managing payroll queries and providing timely, accurate support to employees
- Interpreting multiple EBAs and awards
- Ensuring compliance with taxation and superannuation legislation
- Assisting with reporting, reconciliations, and process improvements
Your Profile
You'll bring previous payroll experience with a strong understanding of payroll legislation and award interpretation is essential, as well as excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail. Exposure to large payroll systems will be highly regarded.
