Print assistant/ offsider needed for immediate start, Training will be provided for the right applicant. This is an ongoing role with the potential for transition to full time in the future.
*** Immediate start for experienced print offsiders or printers ***
Duties:
- Manual Handling - Lifting loading stock & moving pallets throughout factory.
- Operating machinery - Pile turner, Pallet jack and others once trained.
- Ensuring machines are supplied with stock in a timely manner.
- Monitoring for errors or imperfections in the stock.
- Safely load, unload and stack board for running through the presses.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area at all times.
- Assist printer and machine operators as required.
About you:
- Physically fit, Pushing, pulling, lifting required.
- Safety conscious and the ability to adhere to WHS policies and procedures.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Sound communication skills.
- Willing to work in a Pharmaceutical grade environment. (hairnet, beard net etc)
- A good attitude and able to work as part of a team.
To be Successful:
- Must have full working rights within Australia. (this Opportunity will lead to fulltime employment)
- Reliable transport is essential as public transport timetables may not suit finish times.
- Available to work Nights long term 10pm - 6am.
- Able to commit to full 38-hour weeks plus overtime.
- Experience in a high paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions (training provided)
- Safety conscious attitude.
- Willingness to move around throughout the factory as required depending on workload.
