The opportunity
As a Site Manager for our client, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of a large townhouse project, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. This is a full-time position based in the south-west of Brisbane where the client has an extensive pipeline of projects throughout 2026/27.
Key responsibilities
Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, resource allocation and supervision of workers
Liaise with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns that arise
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any potential delays or challenges
Manage the site budget, tracking expenses and making adjustments as needed
Provide leadership and mentorship to the construction team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
What we're looking for
Extensive experience (8+ years) in a site management or construction supervisory role
Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials and project management best practices
Ideally have experience managing townhouse projects 30 and above.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and find innovative solutions
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, subcontractors and the construction team
Thorough understanding of relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
Proficiency in project management software and tools
