We are seeking a motivated Trade Assistant/Installer to join our team at Magnetite Perth in Malaga, Western Australia. This full-time role will see you working alongside our experienced tradespeople to install high-quality Acoustic Window and Door solutions for residential and commercial clients across the region, from Yanchep to Mandurah. We want someone who is interested to learn and be with us long term!

What you'll be doing

• Assisting tradespeople with the installation of Acoustic Window and Door solutions

• Preparing jobs prior to attending site, by measuring, cutting, and fitting materials prior to installation in our Malaga warehouse.

• Ensuring a safe and tidy work environment throughout the installation process

• Providing excellent customer service to clients throughout the installation

• Maintaining company vehicles and tools in good working order

• Adhering to all relevant safety standards and company policies

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a trade assistant or in a similar labourer role

• Strong practical skills, with experience using hand tools, power tools and the ability to read technical drawings will be highly beneficial

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team

• A valid driver's licence and your own reliable transportation

• A keen interest and a willingness to learn

Requirements

Driver Licence - REQUIRED

White Card - Preferred

Police Clearance - REQUIRED

Work Authorisation for Australia _ REQUIRED

We provide you with all the training and tools you will require. You will need to bring a willingness to learn!

This role DOES require some heavy lifting, bending and repetitive movements, and does require some level of fitness.

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• 8 hour shift

• Monday to Friday

• Start time is 730am on Monday and 8am Tues to Fri
