About the role
Karuna-Maya Medicine is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team in our Jan Juc clinic. This part-time role is essential in providing outstanding customer service and administrative support to our patients and healthcare providers.
What you'll be doing
Greeting and checking in patients, and managing patient flow
Scheduling appointments, managing the appointment calendar, and ensuring efficient patient bookings
Handling incoming phone calls, emails, and other patient inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and files
Assisting with general administrative tasks such as accounts, ordering supplies and maintaining the reception area
Collaborating with the clinical team to ensure seamless patient experiences
What we're looking for
Minimum 1-2 years of medical receptionist experience is required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
Proficient in using medical practice management software and other digital tool
Experience with Best Practice medical practice management software is ideal
A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care
Australian citizens only are eligible for this position
Ability to cover leave (Annual and Personal)
