Initial Services, a family-owned Demolition and Asbestos Removal company, is expanding our team! Our scope of works includes strip-outs, structural modifications, façade retention/heritage work, multi-level building demolition, and both Friable and Non-friable asbestos removal. We also have a number of current building projects on, building a new corporate office building and workshop, residential renovation and other building works.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, reliable person to work in our Building & Maintenance Team. Knowledge and experience in carpentry is a must.
This role is Full Time and will work alongside our qualified Carpenter to effectively carry out general construction works and basic carpentry duties. This person will be assisting with framing and building the new corporate office and warehouse so experience in this area is essential.
Duties:
Complete any general maintenance and installation of cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures used in buildings
Use hand tools, machines, or power saws as required
Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean environment
Commitment to safety
You will hold:
OHS White Card
Current Driver's Licence & own car
Certificate III in Carpentry & Joinery
Hand tools
