The Role
- Oversee all inventory control activities, including daily reconciliations, stock takes, and cycle counts
- Manage and develop two direct reports, fostering a proactive and high-performing team culture
- Utilise automation systems to streamline inventory accuracy and efficiency
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce variances and enhance accuracy
- Collaborate with operations and warehouse teams to forecast stock requirements and plan ahead for peak periods
- Prepare and present reports on stock performance, movement, and discrepancies
- Proven experience in inventory management within a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, forward-thinking mindset
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop small teams
- Comfortable working with warehouse management and automation systems
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
