EcoSmart Solar is expanding, and we're looking for a motivated Trade Assistant to join our growing team. If you’re hands-on, reliable, and have experience working on roofs, we want to hear from you!
About the Role:In this role, you’ll support our electrical and solar installation projects across Rockhampton and nearby regions. While prior experience in solar or electrical work is a bonus, it’s not essential — we provide full on-site training.
Key Responsibilities:Assisting with electrical and solar system installations
Cable management and wiring
Roof-based work and installation support
Safe use of hand and power tools
Material handling and site preparation
Following instructions and safety procedures
Strong communication skills
Experience working at heights and on roofs
A professional and reliable attitude
Ability to work well in a team and follow directions
White Card (Construction Induction)
Working at Heights certification
Own battery drill and basic hand tools
Current and unrestricted driver's licence
