The Role
For more than a decade, Ventia has worked to deliver over $250 million of electricity and gas transmission and distribution (T&D) projects across Australia. Ventia has partnered with Energy Queensland Limited (EQL) to provide distribution, maintenance, and construction services.

Looking for a field leader and highly motivated member to join us at our Rockhampton, QLD depot. Successful applicants will need to be flexible and willing to work rosters as per project requirement.

Key responsibilities will include, but not limited:

• Comply with all applicable health, safety and environmental laws, regulations, and statutory obligations.
• Work in the Rockhampton area and also throughout the Central and other Regional areas of Queensland
• Lead a workgroup to safely perform Construction and Maintenance tasks on Distribution Powerline Networks - Overhead Lines
• Ability to lead, mentor & work in teams that provide quality workmanship that achieve contract outcomes.
• Be diligent to manage & carryout all data collections and required reporting.

Qualifications

• Current QLD Electrical Trade Qualification (Distribution Linesman OR Electrical Fitter/Mechanic)
• Current QLD Driver's Licence
• Construction White Card
• High Risk Work Licence to operate an EWP (greater than 11m)
