Positions available for skilled CNC setters/Operators. If there are CAD CAM skills, this will be a huge bonus. Our team work with Modern turning & machining equipment in excellent facilities, assisting in the production of a variety of complex machined components.
Responsibilities include however are not limited to:
Setting and operating our range of multi-axis machines 3 to 5-axis.
Ensure all parts are completed to the highest possible quality standards.
Ensure all parts are checked and are completed in line with specifications and drawings.
To be considered successful for this position, candidates must:
Have CNC experience in the engineering industry.
Have a had Milling or turning background.
Competent with 5 axis milling of complex surfaces and parts.
Demonstrate basic setup skills for multi-axis machining operations.
Have a high level of computer literacy, fluency with various programming languages and CAM programming, preferably with SolidCam (solidworks).
Be committed, motivated and self-disciplined and have a mindset of continuous improvement in their work.
Demonstrate relevant experience in CNC operations as the primary qualification requirement.
A comprehensive knowledge of Fanuc G code, Siemens and Okuma controls would be beneficial.
The candidate must have a 'can do', 'team playing' attitude, the ability to work under minimal supervision and in a professional manner.
This is a technically challenging role and you must be committed to achieving aggressive production targets, with a flexible approach to working hours.
