AWE RES are seeking qualified & experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our field maintenance crew servicing a range of mobile plant on coal mine sites in the Bowen Basin.
This position is offered with a mine compliant field service ute.

Successful applicants must pass a pre-employment medical or coal board medical, including drug and alcohol screening and qualification checks. Proof of working rights in Australia (valid passport, birth certificate, citizenship certificate, or current visa grant notification) is also required.

Requirements
- Australian recognised Trade Certificate (Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology)
- Current Manual Australian Drivers License (Mandatory)
- High Risk Work License - LF, WP, DG, RB, CN (desirable)
- RII - Work at Heights, Operate Overhead Gantry, Lifting Operations (highly desirable)
- Glencore Generic Induction & BMA Core (highly regarded)
- Proven experience working with OEM equipment (CAT & Hitachi)
- Proven experience with major components; including engines, differentials, transmissions, torque converters, final drives & minor components such as pumps & cylinders
- A strong commitment to creating a safe workplace
- Ability to work independently as well as a part of the team
- Competitive hourly rates – up to $105 p/hr
- Field service ute provided
- Rolling shutdown and maintenance works across various sites
- FIFO from major cities available, secure warehouse parking for your tools & vehicle on R&R
- Paid travel for each engagement, paid at your full hourly rate
