As a Senior Policy Advisor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based advice to support the development, review, and implementation of strategic policy initiatives and legislative reform. You’ll work across divisions to ensure that education legislation reflects contemporary policy objectives and aligns with the NT Government’s strategic direction.
About you
You’re passionate about shaping education policy and legislative reform in the Northern Territory. To be successful you’ll have:
Demonstrated strategic, conceptual and analytical skills and ability to understand and provide advice in complex legislative and policy environments.
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to clearly articulate legal and policy advice to diverse audiences.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
Experience developing and implementing strategic frameworks, governance and work plans to support legislative and policy objectives.
Proven knowledge and experience in corporate governance, legislative processes, and project management.
