Mater Research are looking for an experienced Research Nurse to join our Medical Oncology Clinical Trials team at Mater Research, South Brisbane campus.

Offered as a full-time, maximum term contract, this position plays a vital role in coordinating clinical trials that contribute to advancing cancer care and improving patient outcomes. Salary range: $51.87 - $58.25 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900  + access to many staff benefits! 

What you’ll be doing

As a Research Nurse, you’ll independently manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of multiple clinical trials across their full lifecycle. You will:

• Lead the coordination and conduct of clinical trials in accordance with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory requirements
• Oversee participant recruitment, informed consent, and ongoing clinical care within scope of practice
• Maintain accurate and compliant trial documentation, data entry, and reporting
• Collaborate closely with investigators, sponsors, and cross-functional research teams to ensure high-quality trial delivery

 About you

You’re a passionate and detail-oriented nursing professional who thrives in a clinical research environment and values patient-centred, evidence-based care. You will also have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (without restrictions)
• Minimum 3 years’ nursing experience and/or experience in a relevant research field
• Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP) certification and understanding of clinical trial regulations
• Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Desirable:

• Previous experience in clinical trials and/or medical oncology
• ADAC qualification
