We maintain a large, modern fleet of heavy earthmoving equipment, and we’re looking for a reliable and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team.
Your Role:
As an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy vehicles and equipment. This role suits someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, has good communication skills and the drive to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in heavy diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulics
Conduct routine servicing and preventative maintenance
Perform safety inspections and complete service documentation
Use diagnostic tools and follow workshop procedures
Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
What We’re Looking For:
Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic (Certificate III or equivalent)
Proven experience working with heavy vehicles or equipment
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Current driver’s license (HR preferred but not essential)
