About the role
Grid Drilling Pty Ltd is seeking a Drillers Offsider to join our team within the Bundaberg Region, QLD. This is a casual role assisting the licensed Driller in the drilling and installation of water bores, no experience is necessary just the ability to work outdoors in a safe and productive manner and to follow instructions as you learn the job.
As an Offsider, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the company's operations and contributing to the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.
What you'll be doing:
Assisting the Driller in the preparation for drilling and installation of water bores
Pre starts of trucks, loading, driving and unloading of trucks to drilling sites, readying the site for drilling.
Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors is necessary
Ensuring the work site is kept clean, organised and safe at all times
Performing general labouring duties to support the Driller.
Adhering to all company policies, procedures and safety protocols
Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge
What we're looking for
A HR truck licence is essential
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn and develop new skills
Ability to pass random drug and alcohol testing
Candidates with any Australian work status will be considered but must reside in the Bundaberg Region this is not a FIFO position.

We offer a starting wage of $38.50 per hour, higher rates to be negotiated depending on skills and experience .
