About the OpportunitySmart Cookies is looking for full-time and part-time Educators (Cert III, Diploma, and Room Leader level) based in Liverpool, NSW.
You will join a nurturing team focused on high-quality education, documentation, and critical reflection to support children’s development and assist the centre’s preparation for Assessment and Rating.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supervising and engaging with children across age groups
Participating in daily programming, planning, and reflection
Contributing to documentation and compliance processes
Supporting the centre through self-assessments and quality improvement
Demonstrating knowledge of the EYLF and NQF frameworks
Collaborating with your team to ensure a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment
To qualify, you will need a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, and hold a current Working With Children Check, First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certification. These are permanent roles suitable for educators able to work consistently across 4 or 5 days per week.
Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:
Experience in early childhood documentation and programming
Involvement in Assessment & Rating preparation
Strong understanding of EYLF and NQF frameworks
Confidence in critical reflection and self-assessment
Capacity to step into or grow into a Room Leader role
