A leading residential volume builder in Queensland is seeking an experienced Site Costs Estimator who can confidently work with land developers and internal teams to ensure site costs are accurate, compliant, and commercially aligned.
If you have strong estimating experience, enjoy the technical detail, and can build positive relationships with developers and stakeholders, this role will suit you perfectly.
This role blends technical estimating, site analysis, and direct communication with developers, sales, drafting, and pre-construction teams.
The role includes:
Build and maintain productive relationships with land developers to confirm lot details, covenants, and site constraints
Review engineering, surveys, soil tests, overlays, and developer guidelines
Prepare fixed site cost assessments before the contract
Identify constructability issues early and provide practical solutions
Ensure compliance with QLD building regulations, council planning codes, and developer requirements
Provide clear technical advice to sales, drafting, and estimating teams
Maintain accurate costing and documentation within Framework Software
Clarify site-specific information with developers and internal stakeholders as needed
What you will need:
5+ years experience as a residential estimator for a Project Home Builder in South East Queensland
A good understanding of the different developer rules in new estates within SEQ.
QLD Building Regulation and NCC
Knowledge of local council planning codes and overlays.
