About Back2Work
Back2Work is an allied health arm of Humanity Health Group focused on empowering Australian job seekers—especially those facing significant challenges—to return to meaningful employment. We deliver short-term, evidence-based physical and psychological interventions that build participants’ work capacity. In just 4.2 sessions on average, we help more than 40% of participants become work-ready.
The Role
As a Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist, you'll be instrumental in supporting job seekers with physical or medical barriers to employment, delivering both individual and group interventions, including:
Facilitate tailored sessions to build physical capacity and fitness, manage pain, and enhance work readiness
Conduct individual assessments, workplace or functional screenings, and provide structured physical interventions
Co-deliver group programs designed to build resilience, motivation, teamwork, confidence, and work-related skills
You'll work closely with job seekers from diverse backgrounds—including youth, mature-aged individuals, single parents, those with disabilities, and culturally and linguistically diverse communities—to overcome barriers and build sustainable employment pathways
What We’re Seeking
Current AHPRA registration (for Physiotherapists) or ESSA membership (for Exercise Physiologists)
A passion for community-based care and improving job readiness through allied health interventions
Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability across multidisciplinary settings
Flexibility to work across individual and group formats, as well as hybrid and remote options
