“An excellent once in a lifetime opportunity” exists for an exceptional Master Jeweller / Metal Fitter to join our Darwin Jewellery Workshop team.
The role offers a unique opportunity to experience the vibrant tropical climate of Darwin and work with the best quality of pearls. You will be surrounded by a supportive and friendly team of experienced jewellers. Our workshop is undergoing a state-of-the-art transformation, providing an aesthetically pleasing work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Handcraft and assemble high-end jewellery pieces. Working with different types of metals – precious and non-precious, to make master pattens and specific tools
Construction of moving parts, mechanical parts, clasps
CAD, CAM
Perform meticulous repairs and restorations on Paspaley brand (luxury) jewellery items
Contribute to the continuous improvement in workshop techniques and innovation
Preparing pearls for setting into jewellery, training will be provided
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in luxury jewellery manufacturing or high-end bench work
Formal training or certificate
Experience in a luxury brand environment is highly desirable
The successful candidate will have exceptional attention to detail and precision, be able to work collaboratively in a team of master craftspeople and have a passion for luxury craftsmanship and innovation.
