About us

UWin Cars is a long established large family owned used car dealership located on the Southside of Brisbane.  We pride ourselves on an extensive range of quality late model vehicles, predominately 4x4's but we do cover a wide range (check out our website for our current stock).  We have a strong commitment to outstanding customer service.  Our internal workshop plays a crucial role in preparing our vehicles for sale to the highest standards, ready for delivery to our excited customers. 

Due to our increased sales month on month, we are currently seeking an experienced mechanic to join our close knit team.

About the role:

• Exciting work on late model vehicles that are unique and highly desirable 

• Road tests to diagnose any potential mechanical issues for our cars

• Perform routine servicing and occasionally more complex repairs 

• Ensure the vehicles meet our high safety and quality standards before being delivered to our clients

• Minimal customer contact required

Requirements:

• Valid manual drivers licence essential

• Qualified mechanic with Certificate 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or perhaps a later year apprentice looking for a change of scenery

• Ideal candidate will have at least 12 months post-apprenticeship experience 

• Strong understanding of the automotive systems and components of a wide range of vehicles

• Approved Examiner or ability to apply as an approved examiner to issue RWC highly regarded.

About you:

• A team player that loves to help their team hit goals, but also has the ability to work independently when required

• Excellent problem solving skills and extreme attention to detail - we love to go above and beyond when preparing our cars for sale

• You have a great understanding of automotive systems and components on a wide range of vehicles

• Ability (or willingness to learn) to fit aftermarket accessories, wheels and tyres is highly desirable

• Ability to maintain a safe and clean working environment 

• Reliable and honest

• Clear criminal history check
