About the Role:

Our Blackwater mine site is currently seeking experienced auto electricians to join our Maintenance Team on a 7/7 roster. Come join a site with positive, energetic and approachable leaders, hard work and talent appreciated.
As an experienced auto electrician working on various mobile plant equipment such as CAT, Hitachi and Komatsu. You will be supporting site requirements for planned shutdowns, servicing, breakdowns, and diagnostic work.

Our advanced fleet includes:

Komatsu 930E and Caterpillar 789C haul trucks
Hitachi EX8000, Caterpillar 6060, and Hitachi EX3600 excavators

About You:

We're looking for candidates with:

• An Australian-recognised Auto Electrical Trade Certificate (or equivalent)
• Air conditioning servicing experience and relevant license
• Prior experience with mining mobile plant and equipment maintenance
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail
• Experience with SAP (desirable)

Located in Central Queensland, Blackwater Mine is one of the state's largest coal mines, just 21 km from Blackwater. BUMA Australia has been handling truck and excavator pre-strip operations here since 2012, moving over 35 million BCM of material annually.
