Property Manager - Student Accomodation
Join us as a Property Manager, in a fun, friendly and inclusive team of 20+ staff, at the Malvern office, and do something different in Property Management!
With great perks and little to no Weekends (maybe literally a couple per year, if at all)!
This opportunity is a rare chance to join a great large team, managing ~200 newer stype studio apartments they have acquired. With admin support.
This role will suit a residential property manager to step up into this role. Student housing is a great, more lucrative career option that many residential PM's overlook!
With progression, a growing and stable education sector and potential team leader roles at 115K+, you have the job security and scope for growth you are seeking here.
JOB DUTIES:
- Manage your own portfolio of ~200 residential studios (typically all in 2-3 or so buildings, easy, new simple to manage properties)
- Handle emails and/or enquiries, as well as owner enquiries etc
- Deal with property maintenance requests and admin, etc for the portfolio, with administrative support
This is the chance to be involved in a supportive team where you stand to be valued as a property manager, and work for some of the leading directors in the industry who understand property management and treat staff well.
Well structured office with good policy and procedures and manage thousands of properties in VIC. Career Progression & options that don't exist in "Real Estate Agencies"
WHATS ON OFFER:
- 1st Year Salary of ~$90,000, potentially more
- Tools of the trade, laptop, phone are provided (TBC)
- WFH Policy / Schedule (after probation typically, mayb be negotiable)
- Car parking free local to office
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Has understanding and experience of property management with end to end portfolio management experience, ideally with apartment experience
- The desire to develop and progress their career in a friendly, inclusive team
- Have successfully completed agents rep certificate etc
- Car and drivers licence
