Reconciliations Officer
Salary: Up to $75k + super
Hours: 12-month Fixed Term Contract
Location: Melbourne CBD (2 days working from home)

ABOUT THE ROLE:This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable professional with a focus on reconciliations. In this role, you'll be responsible for reconciling high-volume supplier accounts, investigating discrepancies, and liaising with both internal teams and external suppliers. Your ability to work through variances efficiently and accurately will be key to your success.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Reconcile supplier accounts to statements in a timely and accurate manner (experience with 50+ invoices per supplier preferred)
Investigate and resolve variances and discrepancies
Liaise regularly with suppliers to manage account queries and ensure prompt resolution
Escalate issues following internal procedures and timelines
Coordinate various tasks within the broader Accounts Payable team
Communicate effectively with other departments across the business
Ensure supplier queries are handled efficiently and professionally
