An Australian based Engineering consultancy with a portfolio of mining projects. Seeking for an experienced Project Engineer to add to the team.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer with mechanical background. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience in gold mining or wet mineral processing plants.

Job Responsibilities
Managed the full tendering process, from bid issuance to contract award, including technical and commercial negotiations.
Issued RFQs and scopes of work for equipment and package procurement.
Researched and negotiated supplier pricing; analyzed cost-impacting factors like exchange rates and productivity.
Conducted technical bid evaluations and vendor audits.
Delivered regular progress, resource, cost, and forecast reports to stakeholders.
Verified test certificates, calibration records, and personnel qualifications.
Witnessed and signed ITPs; coordinated third-party inspections and audits.
Closed out punch list items and NCRs; promoted continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
4-8 years of experience mechanical project engineering background, preferably with gold experience (or wet mineral processing plants)
Ad hoc site travel
Develop study project schedules, budgets and forecasts
