About the Opportunity
Rates: Hourly rate of $29.73, with penalty rates applied. The hourly rate will increase to $31.03 after 12 months.
Hours: Starting times range between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM, with shifts typically spanning up to 10+ hours per day and averaging around 50 hours per week. Saturday shifts are available and paid at overtime rates.
Overtime: Time and a half after regular hours, double time after 10 hours. Meal allowances are also included after 10 hours.
Customer Service on wheels: Interacting with a wide range of personalities. Need someone to be comfortable interacting with people.
We provide cutting-edge technology for safety, route mapping, and load tracking.
A 10-day training program will be provided for all new starters.
About You:
Licence: You must have a minimum of a Heavy Rigid license with previous driving experience (preferred).
White Card: You will have a current valid Construction White Card, or be willing to obtain one before you start.
People Skills: You enjoy engaging with people.
Variety: You prefer variety in your work. No two days are the same when you’re driving one of our Agitator trucks.
Pride in Your Ride: You take pride in the appearance of your truck. Keeping it clean and presentable is important—you are a mobile billboard for our company.
Medical Check: Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test (random testing is also conducted on all Heidelberg sites).
