The Opportunity



Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring plant reliability and production efficiency. Working in a rotating day/night roster (7-day fortnight rotation), you'll be responsible for equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives in our state-of-the-art facility located in Harvey, WA.



This is a hands-on role suited for a trade-qualified electrician with strong maintenance experience in FMCG, food processing, or manufacturing.



Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to daily, weekly, monthly planned worked orders as per Mex system
  
• Ensure 100% plant availability on a daily basis
  
• Attend to breakdowns during production.
  
• Conduct analysis on breakdowns and work towards prevention of breakdowns
  
• Assist with repairs, upgrades and projects as required
  
• Assist in development of apprentices
  
• Maintain housekeeping practices at all times
  
• Commitment towards HB and all employees of HB
  
• KPI - Electrical downtime in production
  

What We're Looking For:

The ideal candidate will bring:

• Either a Mechanical Trade Cert or a Full unrestricted WA Electrical License
  
• A background in food/meat processing equipment, vacuum sealing machines, mixers and grinders, forming machines, labelers and carton machines (preferred, not essential)
  
• Ability to fault find in electrical/ mechanical systems in a high-speed environment
  
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  
• Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs and VSDs (highly advantageous)
  
• Be able to read and understand schematics
  
• Positive can-do-attitude
  
• Team player
