About the position
Due to an internal transfer, a new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Supervisor at our Savage River site! This role will manage all facets of blasting, working in both operations and manufacturing activities, while leading a team.
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will supervise the daily operations and manufacturing activities of the teams including daily site maintenance and training. You will ensure a safe and healthy environment for all employees and contractors while maintaining compliance with Enaex policies and procedures to ensure agreed customer targets are met.
This role is based at our Savage River site in the dynamic Burnie region of Tasmania's north-west coast. You will be supported and mentored by fantastic leaders, and be surrounded by a close-knit, hard-working team.
About you

Ability to work closely with our Customers and Operational team to ensure quality and best practice
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Demonstrated management experience
Experience in the Open cut and manufacturing Mining industry is advantageous
Sound knowledge of dangerous goods and explosives legislation
High attention to detail with a commitment to timeliness and accuracy
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
Quick and efficient problem-solving skills
Collaborative and innovative approach
What you need
Supervisor training (S1, S2 & S3) essential
Cert IV in training and assessment - desirable
Forklift licence
Heavy Rigid (HR) licence
G2 Implementation of Risk Management - desirable
Security Sensitive Dangerous Substances (SSDS) Card
National Police Check (valid in last 3 months or willingness to obtain)
Computer literacy
