The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll take responsibility for end-to-end payroll processing for a mixed workforce, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant awards and legislation. This role starts on a temporary basis with the view to convert to permanent for the right person.
Your duties will include:
- Full-function payroll processing for weekly and fortnightly pay runs across Australia and Asia
- Maintenance of employee records, new starters and terminations
- Calculation of leave entitlements, superannuation and payroll tax
- Managing payroll queries and providing timely resolutions
- Assisting with month-end reporting and reconciliations
- Supporting process improvements and system enhancements
Your Profile
You're an experienced Payroll Officer with strong end-to-end experience, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You'll be confident working both autonomously and as part of a close-knit team. Experience with large payroll systems and award interpretation will be highly regarded.
