We’re currently seeking a Communications Technician for an upcoming project based in Collie, WA, with mobilisation set for 21st July. This is a 5-month contract offering excellent rates and full support for travel and accommodation.
What's on Offer:
$65 per hour flat rate
Camp-style accommodation provided in Collie
Ute and fuel card supplied for travel from Perth
Initial roster: 5 x 12-hour days/week (moving to a 10:4 swing)
Long-term work on a well-supported project
Role Summary:
You’ll be working on the installation, maintenance, and support of communications infrastructure in an industrial/mining setting. Tasks include two-way radios, fibre and data cabling, network hardware and related systems.
Requirements:
Open Cabling Registration (mandatory)
Construction White Card
Own hand tools and basic testing equipment
Willingness to complete a Pre-Employment Medical and Lab-based Drug & Alcohol Screen
Previous experience in industrial/mining communications highly regarded
Able to work safely, independently, and as part of a small, hands-on team
