About the role
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our team in Brooklyn, VIC. We are part of the meat processing circular economy that produces inedible protein meals and feedstock for renewable biofuels.
As Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for performing electrical maintenance, repair and installation tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our industrial facilities. This is a full-time position based in our Brooklyn location.
What you'll be doing
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems, equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues quickly and efficiently.
- Install, test and commission new electrical equipment and systems.
- Adhere to all relevant safety standards and procedures
- Collaborate with other trades in the maintenance team to ensure a coordinated approach
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Excellent electrical troubleshooting and repair skills
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, equipment and machinery
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and following procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
