About the role
Bridgestone Select Tyre & Auto is seeking an experienced and skilled Motor Mechanic to join their team in Albany Creek, QLD. As a full-time Motor Mechanic, you will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of a variety of motor vehicles, ensuring they are operating safely and efficiently.
What you'll be doing
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in motor vehicles
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations
Test and inspect vehicle components to identify problems and determine appropriate repair actions
Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used
Ensure the workshop is kept clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients
What we're looking for
Formal qualifications in automotive mechanics
Extensive experience as a Motor Mechanic, preferably in a similar automotive workshop environment
Proficient in the use of diagnostic equipment and tools
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex issues
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
Commitment to providing high-quality workmanship and customer service
A valid manual driver's licence and the ability to operate a range of motor vehicles
