Upskill training and career progression within MTGA
MTGA is hiring General Assemblers, Mechanical Fitters and Mechanical Trades Assistants for our Carlisle based manufacturing facility. These are permanent full time roles.
These roles will play an integral part in our manufacturing teams, responsible for carrying out mechanical fit-off of our manufactured mobile remote power infrastructure products.
MTGA designs and manufactures a wide range of remote area power and communications equipment for autonomous vehicles, mining, energy, government and agriculture in a wide variety of climatic conditions around the globe.

What’s Required
- Minimum 3 years’ experience of mechanical fit off in a production environment
- Proficient with mechanical fitter hand tooling
- Be able to follow direct instructions
- Take initiative and work in a team
- Australian citizen or permanent resident with full work rights
- Current Driver’s Licence
Desirable
- Mechanical fitting trade or certificate equivalent
- Electrical termination skills and experience
