About the Role

Nati Access Company is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Blade Repair Technician to oversee blade repairs and inspections across major wind projects in Australia. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll ensure technical excellence, operational efficiency, and a high-performing site team. Acting as the key link between field crews, management, and clients, you’ll drive safety, quality, and commercial outcomes while supporting team development, increasing internal capabilities and ensuring successful project delivery.

Requirements

• Extensive blade repair experience in field environments (wind farms)

• IRATA Level 1, 2 or 3

• GWO BST

• GWO Blade Repair

• White Card

• Full Drivers License

• Strong communication, leadership, and planning skills

• Comfortable working in FIFO arrangements and remote project sites

• Must reside in Australia

Highly Regarded

• Hands-on experience in blade manufacturing or composite lay-up

• Confined Spaces / Gas Testing Atmospheres

• HWS 01 L

• Prior experience leading blade teams or mentoring technicians

• Strong reporting and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise blade inspections, repairs, and finishing to OEM standards

• Lead site teams and manage day-to-day project execution

• Ensure compliance with rope access procedures, HSE policies, and QA/QC systems

• Prepare and review condition assessments, repair documentation, and photo reports

• Liaise with clients, project managers, and internal teams to ensure successful scope delivery

• Support continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and improving site processes

• Mentor junior technicians and support structured field-based training
